Can I buy tickets at the gate until closing time?
No gate ticket sales.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
Please leave food and drink at home.
You can only bring empty bottles to fill with water provided at the venue.
We have an amazing selection of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages and food vendors have everything you could possibly want - wine, beer, soft drinks, cider, non-alcohol beer and all sorts of delicious meals. Water will be available on all beverage stands and at the front gates.
Photo ID required for purchase of alcoholic drinks when asked.
Can I bring my dog?
No dogs allowed (service animals are permitted).
Can I set up a gazebo?
No gazebos are allowed.
Can I bring my own deck chair or bean bag?
Definitely – make yourself comfortable!
CODE OF CONDUCT
We are dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all attendees. Upon entry to the Ohope Beach Golf course, you’re agreeing to abide by our code of conduct and that any decisions made by the event organisers will be final.
Any form of discrimination, harassment, or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated. If you feel uncomfortable in any way, please inform a staff member or security personnel. We do not condone intoxication, if you feel unwell, St Johns provide a safe and confidential space to regroup if needed. Please look out for the event ‘CREW’ in hi-vis vests.
INTOXICATION PROTOCOL
1. Management of Intoxicated Individuals: If any individual is found to be intoxicated, they will be escort to the St Johns tent onsite. They will be refused further alcohol service for the duration of the event.
2. Ticket Sale Disclaimer: By purchasing a ticket, attendees agree to these conditions and acknowledge that intoxication will result in the refusal of further service.

AGED 18-25? BRING PROOF OF AGE
The Festival is very much a family event - but you must be 18+ to drink alcohol.
Proof of Age: Bring proof of age if you’re 18-25 years old. The Festival is a family event - but you must be 18+ to drink alcohol. Proof of age will be requested if you look under 25 years. Drivers License, HANZ 18+ card, or Passport are accepted as proof of age.
BUS TRANSPORT
Select your free return bus ride when you purchase your concert ticket. Buses leave from Whakatane to the concert venue.
Bus picks up from Whakatane Kakahoroa Drive Carpark to Ohope Beach Golf Links:
Departs Whakatane to Ohope: 2:30pm, 3:00pm and 3:30pm
Departs Ohope to Whakatane: 9:00pm and 9:30pm
PARKING
Park the entrance of the Ohope Beach Golf Course or in the surrounding reserve. VIP and Mobility parking at the main golf course car park.
ARRANGE TRANSPORT
Car-pool with friends.

BRING CASH
We do have EFTPOS cash out on site, however bringing cash will make your life much easier.
BE PREPARED FOR THE HEAT
Ohope can be very summery in December and in previous years, we have experienced stunning hot days. Please don't forget the sunblock, hat and sunnies. Be prepared for the weather!
BE COMFORTABLE
You're very welcome to bring a chair or picnic rug with you and set up a posy to enjoy the day. No gazebos.
No alcohol can be consumed in public spaces when you leave the venue.
Be courteous, polite and considerate to other attendees, vendors, exhibitors and volunteers.
No Smoking or Vaping is permitted on Ohope Beach Golf Links course.
In case of accidents or medical emergencies, the St Johns station is located at the 11th tee box. By the Club house.
Free water is available at the Main Gate and near beverage vendors.
The Whakaari Waiata concert will be taking photographs at the show. Entry to the show means you will be permitting us to use such photographs for future promotion and marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please politely ask our photographer to not photograph you.
Management reserves the right to prohibit entry to, or remove from the event, any person under the influence of drugs and alcohol, showing disorderly or inappropriate behaviour.
